Primary Schools

In Caithness and North Sutherland there are a range of primary schools where your children would be warmly welcomed. 
Depending on where you choose to call home will determine which primary school your children attend. You can see the full list of Highland Council Primary schools here.
You can use this interactive map to search your post code to work our which catchment area you live in and therefore, which primary school your children will attend. 

In Caithness and North Sutherland there are two main towns, Wick and Thurso. In Wick, there are two primary schools and in Thurso, there are three. 

Wick:

• Noss Primary
• Newton Park Primary

Thurso:

• Miller Academy Primary
• Mount Pleasant Primary
• Pennyland Primary
