The Highland Council offer a comprehensive list of Nursery schools in the Highland Council region. The region covers a large geographical area so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us to ask which is the best fit for your family. 
Bower Busy Bees is an independent, community led nursery which is not bound to catchment areas. They offer a different approach to nursery education as many of their activities are outdoors.
The Scottish Government offer 30 hours free childcare for children aged 2 – 4 years. The Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) scheme includes providers like nurseries, playgroups and commissioned childminders. The ELC entitlement can make a huge difference to families with young children. In an ELC setting children can learn together through playing and having fun. Its a great way to learn skills for the future. ELC is not statutory and it is for you to decide whether you want your child to participate and for how many hours from the 30 available.
