Highland Council is one of 32 all-purpose councils in Scotland, serving 219,000 people across 26,484 sq km. It has 80 elected members, serving on 14 four-member wards and eight three member wards.
The Council aims to create sustainable communities with more balanced population growth and economic development across the Highlands and to build a fairer and healthier Highlands.
