Chambers of Commerce
Caithness Chamber of Commerce is the lead business organisation in the area representing businesses and organisations across a wide range of industries and sectors.
Its vision is to directly contribute to the economic growth of Caithness and its individual members working in partnership with key economic agencies and the wider community. It is the driving force behind the Invest Caithness initiative.
The Chamber is supported by a large Chamber network with Inverness Chamber of Commerce offering a supporting role from a regional perspective and providing a link through to British Chambers of Commerce. It provides a communications platform between the Chambers in the region on connected policy matters as well as assisting affiliated Chambers in strengthening their membership proposition to grow their membership and sustain and support local activity for their members.
On a national level, Caithness Chamber of Commerce is part of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce (SCC) network. SCC represents more than 50 percent of private sector jobs in Scotland and has built a reputation as Scotland’s premier voice for business at national and international level.
